Gmail ~ Firefox Add-ons

雖然知道好多firend都係用開yahoo mail，但係我自從兩年前由sina轉用Gmail後，自此就成為了Google的信徒。(雖然我現在都係重用緊yahoo寫blog，嘻嘻！ 要我講我覺得Google好的o野真係可以講到今晚，今日又知多一樣正o野，原來Gmail重可以透過Firefox install好多有關Gmail的 Add-ons，令Gamil變得更有彈性同個人化，我就係最like可以做到個人化的interface，就正如我之前講過有關Google Home (iGoogle)，都係因為我鍾意佢可以比我自已設計自已喜愛的interface。 其中Gmail Skin 0.9.8s就係最吸引我啦，大家可睇睇分別：







除o左可以選不同的skin tone之餘，在寫郵件時重多了5個icon，方便插表, edit html、加相、加emotion圖示及在picasa input相片。此外重可以將成個google home放到mail的右邊，同一時間睇到mail box同google home的applications。

不過其中一個考慮就係，如果想玩呢o的小玩意，先要裝個Firefox來用，雖然我都有裝開Firefox，但一般只係用來做後備browser，現在有o左Gmail這些 Add-ons的刺激，可以令我更『習慣』使用Firefox了！其實都看過網上好多IE vs Firefox的比較，好多較為資深的電腦用家，都會推Firefox的速度好過 IE好多，今次都係時候轉一轉，等我都提升下自已！

GmailDrive

睇到雜誌講話Gmail可以install一個叫Gmail Drive Shell之後，就在自己部腦度好似多隻Hardisk，忍唔住想試下。

成個software都係百幾K，認真迷你，安裝過程勁易之餘，又係繁體版，我用這個是剛在07年3月更新的版本，所以我想比最初期的會較穩定。

安裝完成後已經可以見到『我的電腦』度在『其他』一欄多o左個Gmail Drive，Double click後就可以登入使用，非常易用，如果選o左auto login，重唔洗次次打login 登入o忝。

不過始終係唔洗錢，速度方面其實同一般掉o野上mail差不多，只不過係唔洗好似平時咁send封email比自己，又要唸下個mail title打咩好。而對我o黎講，最緊要就梗係『型』o左，真係『確係唔同o的』 ，有少少『勁』o左o的o既感覺...嘻嘻！

Google Home - iGoogle

剛用了Google Home幾日，發現Google Home都幾得。

除o左可以用drag and drop來調配interface上的division之外，更可以從超過百多個網上外掛功能中，選自己喜愛的放到自己的home上，雖然當中多數都是一些比較切合外國使用的applications，但也有一些是很o岩用的。

就例如像我這樣有多個online email account的人，雖然yahoo和gmail都有轉寄功能，但此終有機會forward漏，加上homail是不支援striaght forward功能的，以至我的hotmail account通常都是過了30日沒有login，而次次都要由頭確應一次acccount才可以登入。(但又死不想掉了自己在hotmail的那個心愛的login)

現在可以在同一版面check晒3個online mail box的mail，甚至yahoo messager都不用再download都可以登入到(不過我試過是不支援中文的IM)，而不用download同install成個yahoo messager。另外隨自己喜愛，我也加了google calendar，網上英漢字典等常用的applications。

最搞和令我最like的，就是版面上的那張wallpaper，除了可以給用家自訂外，我昨天才真正發現，原來圖上的天氣係會同你所在地方的天氣配合而變化的！就像今日是陰天，所以圖上都是陰天的，但由於昨日香港有紅雨，我才發現昨日的圖上的公仔大雨到報紙又濕晒，重著埋潛水衣等巴士，非常搞笑！

下次等有晴天時，我再capture一張放上來給大家睇睇吧！

其實當中還有很多其他功能，例如可以add tag來加page，auto search applications等等，不過還是等大家自己研究一下吧！

今日同事介紹我用這個免費的storage戶口，覺得非常之咁『得』！
佢除o左係免費外，重有1Gb的容量，interface 幾Ok之餘，重可以做好多唔同的設定。
例如將指定的file或folder share給不同的朋友，把一些預先選定的file及folder組成一個 box widget再embed入去任何網頁或blog，在share給朋友的時候更不用重新在網站上打電郵地址，它可以把hotmail、gmail、yahoo mail、outlook....的address book 『吸』過來，比你在那個address book上慢慢選。
當然要一提的就是它上載的速度很快，更支援中文的檔名，mp3檔更可以有即時網上試聽的功能等等。
大家不防一試！
以下做了一個testing的folder給大家試試，mp3可以直接網上聽，wmv要download才可以開啟，jpg檔可以網上preview，還有doc檔都有圖示顯示，support所有中文檔名...

Barbie Sings! Princess Movie song Collection

這套《Barbie之真假公主》係我非常非常喜歡的卡通，因為其實它是一套音樂劇的卡通片，入面o的歌非常好聽，絕對可以比美迪士尼一些經典的卡通主題曲，而且歌詞也寫得好好，我在家起碼看了50次以上！

其實所有歌都熟到已經記o左一大半，但係忽然好想可以這些歌放到電話到，隨時可以聽，所以....

我在美國的ebay bid了這隻CD！今日終於收到喇！連郵費都係USD13.07，即HKD約100左右，我覺得係十分之值得！

其實在bid之前都在網上search過，跟本找唔到有這些歌，就算有都只係找到一、兩首比較hit的：Free或者I am a Girl Like You，所以特別在這裡同其他都喜歡這個moive的人分享另外兩首我很喜歡的歌。

看到網站上的Wii Sports攻略上，有指可以令91個球瓶全倒的密技，回家後我老公不斷苦練，終於練到可以把球丟到旁邊的欄杆上，但實際的情況竟與網站中的片短有很大差別！
